ADHD Treatment - Brain Training App Reviews

Great Focus Training

I love the training and the daily reminders and the recommendation on things that help with ADHD.

Nearly Wonderful

The thing I like most are the little quotes that remind me I can be better- some of the instructions for the games do not make sense and need to be more clear. I also like the pop up reminders to stay focused and to play the games. Im not sure how much the games actually help me to become more focused... Would be nice to have a "scale" that measures my progress and shows improvements. Also, to show a correlation between the "games" and "real life"; how one improves the other.

Incredible!!

Its only been a week or two and I already notice a considerable difference!

Does not tell me how to reset

I was playing around with it before giving to my child to train. Now its in a level i have no way to reset. How to reset ?

Is helping.

This app is helping me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Frustrating and Confusing

I got this for my son, when he got to level 15, the instructions said to press the button whenever a change occurs, and dont press button after green. We have tried to do it in every way possible but nothing is working, the instructions on this App are not clear. Now we are both frustrated and disappointed , as he cannot go any further. We hope this is fixed soon, as I read that someone else is experiencing a problem.

So happy I downloaded !

This is such a great resource for those who need help concentrating exercise . I take medication for ADD, but until this app, had no way to practice and improve my focus . Im so grateful this was made available!

Please fix ASAP

I keep trying to click on the check mark and it wont respond, then I says that I missed it. Also, when I try to exit and go back to the home menu in the game, it wont respond when I click on the button. Please fix ASAP. I paid over ten dollars for the app and I would prefer to able to actually play the game. Please fix ASAP and thank you for your time.

Great app BUT

Great app, BUT my only complaint is that its not color blind friendly. I have a red/green deficiency; I have way more problems with figuring out the colors than I do with the other stuff!!

❤️LOVE THIS APP❤️

I happen to love this app! For those confused on dont tap after green. It means when the color green disappears from the screen do not tap. But you can tap the color green when it appears on the screen just not when it disappears from the screen. Anyway, I believe this app is helping me cause Im paying more, MUCH more attention to detail at work when downloading online orders. I have to check super fast that the address hasnt changed. If it has I have to update it. Then check the order header and if customer left comment, copy and paste it to the appropriate place. Was told that I need to do 150 an hour and I now in this past month am doing 200 an hour. Because of this I got a raise. So. Thank you so much for developing this app!

Really?!?!

So, so boring. Unpleasant, redundant, myopic and dull. (psst did anyone tell them we have adhd? I think they forgot.) A waste of time, and depressing... I actually hoed I had found something to help.

True ADHD

Cuz this app grates my nerves when it gets harder :). BUT, thats a good thing. Good app

Frustrating and confusing

After a few levels the instructions become frustrating and confusing. Dont waste your money or time.

Really works

Ive been using the app for almost 6 months and wow what a difference its made in my ability to stay focused thru out the day really great app :)

HOW TO PLAY

my first time using this app I was confused on how to move to the next level. Heres what Ive learned so far: You need to click QUICKLY if you want to get the "green light sound". The emphasis is on SPEED and accuracy. You get a different sound if you dont do it fast enough. You get an "X" sound if you do something wrong (either missing a change, or clicking when you shouldnt half) I hope this helps!

Good, but not great

Good at first, but then the instructions are not clear. Confusing.

I would love this app--if I could use it :(

For some, this may be the perfect app. I hoped this would apply to me as well, but a couple issues have made me avoid the app altogether. ADHD is usually seen as coming with a hunger for stimulus, but there are a decent portion of us where the opposite applies. Case & point, that "incorrect answer" buzzer that startles me 100% of the time. Its loud, abrasive, distracting, and soon Im more concerned with avoiding it than actually doing the activities. Im admittedly a bit of a weenie with games, even countdown timers render things unplayable for me, but this is far beyond that. It is a negative punishment that only reinforces against participation. Would it be too difficult to implement an additional setting to either change the sound or muffle it? If the devs implemented at least this I would be so happy. A similar issue that keeps me from using is the pressure to get progressively higher scores, otherwise your effort means nothing. I liked in the beginning how achievable it was, and gradually increasing difficulty is great. The issue is that it is not at the users pace (even or especially after a long break from use). The player is forced to acclimate to the task, and it honestly brings me down when my best efforts result in only a bunch of awful buzzer noises and the umpteenth "sorry, all your time doing exercises dont count; not because you didnt do them, but because you didnt improve as much as was requested of you" It doesnt feel fair, it takes away any remaining fun or interest, and thus the app feels more like a punishment Ill never get out of.

Stopped working according to the rules of each level

Starting at level 14 the game wouldnt accurately affirm with positive sounds or de-affirm a mistake with a negative sounds, which is the point of the whole app, which means that its broken and useless and maybe even hurtful for attention. Please fix this ASAP or Refund my $10 or whatever I paid!!!
